BAND DESCRIPTION

Swing City is Australia's premier big band, and they are here to entertain! Made up of the the creme de la creme of the Sydney jazz scene and led by legendary jazz drummer John Morrison, Swing City is the ONLY choice when you need the raw dancing power only a big band can provide. Full of the sounds of the 20s, 30s and 40s, they have swung their way from corporate functions, to weddings, to the Opening Ceremony of the Sydney Olympic Games! Swing City are available as a full 18 piece Big Band including vocalist, or in their popular miniature format (Also known as the 'Itty Bitty Big Band'!). All bookings are completely inclusive of sound and lighting, as well as laid-back jazz earlier in the evening. Having a theme?
